Our Wines

The simplest of philosophies guides the creation of the Braided River wines. Anchored in Marlborough's Wairau Valley, in deep river gravels deposited long ago by glacial outwash, the vines yield fruit of restrained intensity and vivid purity.

This environment enjoys some of New Zealand's highest sunshine hours and lowest rainfall. Cool night-time temperatures leading up to harvest in March and April allow the grapes to ripen slowly, developing beautifully balanced sugars and acids.

This unique combination of soils and climate is perfectly suited to Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, New Zealand's signature white and red wine styles showed-cased by Braided River. Read what others are saying about us.
